Finished this one today by Alexander McCall Smith, the second in the Isabel Dalhousie series.
I'd have to say I enjoyed reading it but not as much as the first one.
It is a fairly easy read but there are bits that can be skimmed over and it didn't really feel like a crime novel as such.
I didn't think the story line was as strong.
It could be read without reading the first one as the scene is set and the relevant info in the first book basically explained.
I think I will try the third novel in the series but not just yet!! There are seven novels in the series.
