I enjoyed this book although at a few points I thought it dragged on a little. It centred around the Jewish Mr Rosenblum and his wife after their move to England from Germany and his successes and trials.
It was definitely a similar style to Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Anne Shaffer & Annie Barrows (as was written on the cover of the copy I read).
